Cloud AI Data Transmission
Before using Cloud AI, review what may be sent, how it is transmitted and what you should verify.
Typical transmission route
Your PC → Your own API key → Selected AI provider
Ordinary media submitted to AI is not relayed through Raynovex servers.
Information last reviewed: October 9, 2026
1. Cloud AI versus Local AI
Using a Cloud AI feature from OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude or a supported future provider sends the information required for processing from the user’s PC to the selected provider.
Local AI performs the relevant media processing on the user’s PC without uploading that media to Cloud AI. Other communications, such as license verification, may still occur independently of media processing.
2. Data that may be transmitted
Actual data depends on the chosen functionality, user inputs, media type and AI model.
- Text submitted to the AI and hints entered by the user
- Filenames and media metadata
- Photos and illustrations, and representative frames extracted from videos
- Generation conditions and settings necessary for AI processing
3. Route and API keys
The ordinary route is “User PC → User-configured API key → Selected AI provider.” Raynovex servers are not used as a media-data relay for these requests.
Provider contracts, billing, permissions and API-key handling depend on each user’s settings and the provider’s terms. This page will be updated if providers are added or changed.
4. Official information by provider
Data usage, training, logs and retention, contracting entities and processing locations can vary with the provider, account tier, functionality and current terms. Check the official sources and your own agreement before submitting data.
In particular, Google Gemini API distinguishes between unpaid and paid services for certain data-use terms. Confirm the tier that applies to your account before sending confidential material.
| AI provider | Route and API key | Data that may be transmitted | Official data-handling information | Reviewed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | Direct from the PC to the OpenAI API using your own OpenAI API key. | Input text, hints, filenames, metadata, images or representative video frames, and required settings, depending on the feature and model. | OpenAI API Data Controls ↗ | 2026-10-09 |
| Google Gemini | Direct from the PC to the Gemini API using your own Google API key. | Input text, hints, filenames, metadata, images or representative video frames, and required settings, depending on the feature and model. | Gemini API Terms / Data Use ↗ | 2026-10-09 |
| Anthropic Claude | Direct from the PC to the Anthropic API using your own Anthropic API key. | Input text, hints, filenames, metadata, images or representative video frames, and required settings, depending on the feature and model. | Anthropic Commercial API Data Retention ↗ | 2026-10-09 |
5. Third-party information in media
Before submitting third-party personal data, client-owned material, confidential information or unpublished work to Cloud AI, users must verify their authority to transmit it, any required consent, information about transfers to foreign third parties and other applicable legal requirements.
The application’s “I understand” confirmation acknowledges this notice; it does not obtain cross-border transfer consent on behalf of third parties depicted in media.
6. International transfers
If Raynovex itself transfers personal data to third parties in foreign countries, applicable law may require information about the destination country, its privacy framework and the recipient’s protection measures before obtaining the individual’s consent.
Ordinary AI-media transmissions are made directly by users from their PCs under their own provider accounts and API keys. This does not by itself establish that Raynovex is the disclosing party for every item of media.
Provider entities, processing regions and safeguards may change depending on services and agreements. Rather than guessing country names, we link to the official provider information and the Japanese Personal Information Protection Commission guidance.
7. Planned in-app notice
Before a user first uses Cloud AI, Stock Footage Tool is planned to show a notice about off-device data transmission, the selected provider and handling of third-party information, with a link to this page and a one-time “I understand” acknowledgement.
This does not replace consent from individuals whose information is present in submitted media. People using only Local AI will not be required to acknowledge a Cloud AI transmission that they are not using.
